Applications of Self-Healing Asphalt Concrete in Western India: Enhancing Pavement Durability and Resilience through Steel Fibers and Induction Heating Technique
Reviewer's feedback:
"The research topic is interesting. However, the experimental analysis is mainly based on empirically based tests (Marshall test). Performance test, as stiffness-complex modulus test, fatigue test, rutting test, are missing. The results demonstrate that the use of steel fibers in the investigated bituminous mixtures, allow to realize a self-healing effect, by means of induction heating. Overall, it is a good work for a conference, but the experimental study, by the authors' own admission in the conclusions, is just a first laboratory step. By the way, please check the unit measure of tables 1a, 1b. Moreover, 7 time it is written in the manuscript the term ""fibres"" instead of ""fibers"". Please be careful to use the proper terme ""fibers""." "It is not clear how the healing tests were performed. The format is not good." "reference missing in the introduction on the state-of-the-art material and methodology poorly described - the actual methodology remains unclear units missing in tables"
Editorial Decision for Conference Proceedings:
It is recommended that authors follow the template, as it already provides a clear structure.

As suggested by the name, a section titled "Results and Discussion" should discuss the results, providing answers to the "Why?". However, in the current version, the section above only presents the results. Please provide answer to the "WHY".
